Comprehensive Health Services (CHSi) recently and temporarily stopped processing bloodwork results from LabCorp, due to an electronic security incident involving LabCorp. CHSi has resumed processing labs as of this afternoon (July 25, 2018).
There is no indication that anyone’s personal data was compromised. There also is no sign that any CHSi systems have been breached. However, during the time between discovery of LabCorp’s issue and today, CHSi exercised caution by temporarily rescheduling mariners who plan to ship out soon to Quest to have their labs completed. There will be no charge for rescheduled lab work.
We regret any delays stemming from the LabCorp issue and we agree with the cautious approach that was taken to help ensure that SIU members’ personal information isn’t stolen or otherwise compromised.
