This photograph was sent to the Seafarers LOG by Pensioner Trinidad Sanchez of Carolina, P.R. “It was taken ashore in Rio Haina, Santo Domingo in 1972 at the home of a friend,” he wrote in a note accompanying the photo.
Sanchez (far left, back row) was sailing as an SA at the time. Also pictured are Wiper Frank Torres and Chief Cook Greg Johnson as well as the chief steward. All were crew members aboard the Sea-Land Crusader.
