SIU-contracted companies offer plentiful opportunities for employment aboard all types of vessels, including (but not limited to) deep sea cargo vessels, tankers, military support ships, Great Lakes vessels, cable ships, tugboats, passenger ferries and more.

Important Notice on Apprentice Program

This web site previously included both an electronic information request form and a PDF application for the Paul Hall Center’s unlicensed apprentice program, along with other related content. Those items temporarily have been removed because the Paul Hall Center currently is not taking applications for the apprentice program due to full enrollment and a backlog of applications.

When the school resumes accepting applications, that change will be reflected on this site. If you are interested in applying for the unlicensed apprentice program, please bookmark this page and check for updates beginning in 2010.
