Post-Thanksgiving, it’s ‘Buy Union Week’ (11/23)

The AFL-CIO’s Union Label and Service Trades Department is reminding shoppers that “Buy Union Week” starts Nov. 25 and runs through Dec. 4. “Your shopping dollars can keep good-paying jobs – with good wages and benefits – in your community,” the department noted on its web site. “This holiday season, support good jobs by giving union-made gifts.” For a fine selection of holiday gifts click here
