The Seafarers Pension Plan and the NMU Benefit Plans, respectively, have announced the availability of hurricane relief for eligible pensioners in states affected by Hurricane Katrina or Hurricane Rita. This hurricane relief payment is completely separate from the Seafarers Disaster Relief Fund.Details and applications for the separate retiree benefits are available at the links below.
