The Seafarers-crewed Freedom, operated by Pacific-Gulf Marine for American Roll-On Roll-Off Carrier, recently participated in shipboard security drills with federal authorities near Brunswick, Ga. The exercises were designed to help the crew members as well as the federal agents become better-prepared to fight terrorism. QMED Michael Brown, a 14-year member of the union, provided these photos of the drills. Brown is pictured in the middle photo (third from the top).
