Maritime security and short sea shipping were among the key topics discussed. Guest speakers included SIU President Michael Sacco; U.S. Maritime Administrator Capt. Bill Schubert; RADM Thomas Gilmour, U.S. Coast Guard assistant commandant for marine safety and environmental protection; Alaska Tanker Company President Anil Mathur, and many others.
