The Jersey City (N.J.) Municipal Council has approved a city ordinance creating the “Edward B. Pulver Way,” memorializing the late SIUNA vice president. The council unanimously approved the ordinance Oct. 23. A dedication ceremony is planned for late March 2003.Edward B. Pulver Way will be the address of Washington Street from Dudley Street to the southern terminus of Washington Street at the Morris Canal.
Brother Pulver passed away May 26, at age 78. A Jersey City native, he was a tireless humanitarian and dedicated trade unionist.
