The U.S. Military Sealift Command (MSC) has announced that the hospital ship USNS Comfort – crewed by members of the SIU’s Government Services Division – is returning to Baltimore following its five-month deployment for Operation Iraqi Freedom.A shipboard ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, June 12 in Baltimore. Vice Admiral David L. Brewer III, USN, commander of MSC, will present Merchant Marine Expeditionary Medals to each of the ship’s mariners.
