During meetings this week in Florida, the AFL-CIO executive council approved several resolutions.As noted on the federation's web site, the executive council meets at least twice a year "to consider important union movement business and policies. The council regularly issues statements on legislative measures affecting the interests of working families, ongoing struggles for justice for workers and more."
